Once I reignited my forgotten skill and enjoyment of drawing a few years back, I decided to start taking commissions using charcoal. As I improved my technique and saw the profound reactions it can have on customers for their loved ones, there was a fulfilment I wanted to pursue.

Being colour blind, I previously avoided paint, however, after letting go of my chronic perfectionism, l've now fallen in love with painting, and the more I improve, the more I enjoy it. As you can see, I currently have no consistent style to my work. I'm very aware this is a problem for marketing myself or creating a 'brand' but I don't know how else to experiment without trying to express the endless ideas I have in a plethora of different ways. I'm hoping I'll eventually sink into a unique or coherent style which signals that it was created by me. But until then, I’ll keep exploring.
